“Set Yourself Free” by Ralph Marston"

---"There is no outside force holding you back. You are holding you back and you are blaming it on someone or something else. The way you are able to continue holding yourself back is by maintaining the illusion that you're a victim. Once you realize that illusion, you will naturally and easily move forward. In fact, it is easier to fulfill your best possibilities than it is to avoid them. So let go of the blame and watch the limitations drop away. Certainly there will always be challenges that hold you back. For each challenge provides you with a pathway through which you can move toward fulfillment. It is your very nature to accomplish. Lovingly accept your destiny, and allow that accomplishment to be manifest through you. Set yourself free to follow your purpose. Set yourself free to truly live."

VLCD 18 ( R1 P2 ): 195.9

Arrrghhh - it seems like I've been plateauing in the mid '90's for quite some time now. Don't get me wrong - I am soooo glad to be out of the 200's but I want to get further and further away from that number.

I had a garden chicken salad at Pizza Hut last night and there were some croutons in it. I think that may be the problem here is that I need to be SUPER strict. That's the plan. I'm trying so hard to stay strong but it's the little slip-ups that cause the stalling. I skipped an injection today just in case as so far I didn't skip one a week like I had done in R1.

Sending good loss or stabilization vibes to everyone.

  1. Perhaps trying an apple day will shake things loose. What do you think?

  2. Kathryn i agree with helderheid. I did an apple day yesterday to get me back on track.

Also, how many days are you doing this round?

  3. Darby,
I'm going as long as possible. I have to count how many injections I have left but I think I prepared at least 37.

How many apples did you have yesterday and any water?

  4. Apple Day as defined by Dr. Simeon:

"An apple-day begins at lunch and continues until just before lunch of the following day. The patients are given six large apples and are told to eat one whenever they feel the desire though six apples is the maximum allowed. During an apple-day no other food or liquids except plain water are allowed and of water they may only drink just enough to quench an uncomfortable thirst if eating an apple still leaves them thirsty. Most patients feel no need for water and are quite happy with their six apples. Needless to say, an apple-day may never be given on the day on which there is no injection. The apple-day produces a gratifying loss of weight on the following day, chiefly due to the elimination of water. This water is not regained when the patients resume their normal 500-calorie diet at lunch, and on the following days they continue to lose weight satisfactorily."

Do one, and I'll bet you see a lovely drop on the scale. You're right though, even little slips can cost you dearly the next morning at weigh-in. In the long run, and since you're only on the protocol for such a short time comparatively, its just not worth it. Those croutons aren't worth not seeing a 1/2 - 1 lb loss at this point. You've only got a little while left in this round, why don't you challenge yourself to see just how much you can lose in the time left? Sort of make a game with yourself.

    love you!

  6. It's funny how I can not stand to be without my water now. You are doing great keep at it. The pan is one of those huge industrail cooky sheets that they use at the bakery I got it for my wedding so I can't read the size this many years later. It was the best tasting pizza ever they are all begging me to do it again. Have you also heard of Body Talk it's alot like EFT but a bit diffrent. The girl I see combonies the two studdies and it's kind of nice to have it work on you. I will try to see if she has some .com info you can look at if you want it.
